Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers is looking for an ER/ED Clinical Nurse Educator to support the Emergency Department by educating and developing nursing staff. The role requires a BSN, preferably a master's degree, and a South Carolina RN license. Responsibilities include leading education sessions, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Qualifications

• BSN required; master’s in a related field preferred.
• South Carolina RN license (or qualifying state license) required.
• Previous management experience required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of emergency nursing experience required.
• Certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) required within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in assessing and evaluating education needs.
• Serves as a role model and mentor in nursing practice.
• Coordinates teaching for ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Facilitates competency evaluation and preceptor programs.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to improve quality of care.
