Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years nursing experience required.
• Previous leadership experience required; management experience preferred.
• Current South Carolina RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Manager ensures effective unit operations at the Sweetwater Free-Standing ED/ER by mentoring and supervising staff.
• Leads performance improvement activities in collaboration with quality and hospital leaders.
• Responsible for planning and executing operational and capital budgets with the Director of the Emergency Department and the CNO.
• Ensures clinical practice is evidence-based and aligned with physician partners.
• Promotes a positive working environment and a culture of safety for staff and patients.
