Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration is seeking a Mitigation Technician to provide emergency restoration services in Columbus, Ohio. You will stabilize properties affected by fire, water, and storm damage, ensuring safety and quality service during stressful situations.

The ideal candidate has mechanical skills, the physical ability to lift and work in various conditions, and will commit to obtaining an IICRC certification. We offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying environments.
• Willingness to obtain IICRC (Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification).

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage.
• Perform water extraction and structural drying services.
• Collaborate with the Contents Division to clean and store salvageable items.

Skills

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills

Education

Willingness to obtain IICRC certification

Prior experience in restoration or construction

Tools

PSA or similar job management platforms
