Job summary

ACEP Now is seeking an Emergency Room Physician in Florida to join a fast-paced, high-visibility role providing acute care across all ages. You will perform H&P, exams, diagnostic interpretation, and a range of ER procedures, while delivering timely follow-up and high-quality patient care.

The role requires board-certified EM credentials, active Florida license, and DEA with ACLS certification, plus credentialing across facilities within a 50-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO license and board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM).
• Active DEA license and ACLS certification required.
• Clear and active Florida medical license and credentialing at each facility.
• Ability to pass Level 2 background screen and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients of all ages with mild to moderate emergencies.
• Perform H&P, physical exams, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement quality treatment plans and prescriptions.
• Perform typical ER procedures (I&D, sutures, pelvic exams).
• Coordinate follow-up care within the facility or with specialists.
• Support mid-level providers and maintain door-to-provider time under 30 minutes.
• Adhere to organizational protocols and security policies.
