Job summary

ACEP Now is seeking an experienced ER Physician to deliver high-quality emergency care across Florida facilities, including Buenaventura Lakes. The role requires MD or DO, board certification in Emergency Medicine, active DEA, ACLS, and FL licensure, with 5+ years ER experience.

You will perform H&P, exams, procedures, and coordinate care with mid-level providers. Candidates must pass background/drug screens and be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO license and be board certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Active DEA license and ACLS certification required.
• Florida medical license in good standing is required.
• Ability to pass Level 2 background screen and drug test.
• Experience: 5+ years in an Emergency Room setting.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients of all ages with mild to moderate medical complaints.
• Perform H&P and physical exams.
• Generate quality treatment plans and write prescriptions.
• Perform typical Emergency Room procedures (I&D, sutures, pelvic exams, etc.).
• Coordinate follow-up and referrals within the facility or with specialists.
• Support mid-level providers and ensure door-to-provider times under 30 minutes.
