York Hospital, a Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center, seeks a board-certified/eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join its Department of Emergency Medicine in York, PA. The role offers academic appointments, a robust ultrasound program, and integrated EMS system support.

In a busy, 24/7 environment, you will collaborate with physicians, APPs, residents, and fellows, with opportunities for research and faculty appointments.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency and credentialing for core procedures.
• Must be qualified for Medical Staff to York Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ED physicians, APPs, and residents to deliver patient care.
• Engage in academic opportunities including teaching and research.
• Participate in EMS integration and hospital-wide initiatives for patient flow.

• York Hospital is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI center, and ECMO-capable facility
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and 39 emergency medicine residents and fellows

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required and
• Must be credentialed for all core procedures. Upon Hire Required
• Certification as an Emergency Medical Commander. Upon Hire Preferred
