Job summary

WellSpan Health seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician for a per diem, part-time role in the Shrewsbury/New Freedom area. The position features 24-hour shifts and coverage at WellSpan’s neighborhood hospitals, with autonomy in scheduling within a supportive, physician-led team.

You will be board eligible or certified in Emergency Medicine, complete an EM residency, and maintain credentialing for all core procedures at York Hospital. AMA Joy-in-Medicine initiatives support clinician wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency.
• Must credential for all core procedures.
• Must qualify for Medical Staff of York Hospital.
• Emergency Medicine Commander certification preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required and
• Must be credentialed for all core procedures. Upon Hire Required
• Certification as an Emergency Medical Commander. Upon Hire Preferred
