• Minimum 15 CME per year in Palliative Care or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide fully consultative palliative care with no admitting or discharging duties.
• Care mix approx. 75% inpatient and 25% outpatient; adapt to program needs.
• Collaborate with APPs and nurses; mentor residents in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine.
• Utilize Epic EMR with ambient AI documentation; engage in team-based care.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required or
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice or Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
• Hospice and Palliative Care Certification through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or if a DO, through the Osteopathic Board process. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
