Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster is hiring a Medical Assistant to support health care services, specimen collection, and routine lab studies. You will assist with administrative tasks such as coordinating patient flow and scheduling, and serve as a trained preceptor for new MA orientations and MA student instruction.

The position is full-time, day shift, with hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, located in Lancaster, PA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification or registration as CMA/RMA within 90 days of employment date or active CMA/RMA status required.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 6 months of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health care services, specimen collection, and routine lab studies.
• Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, and phone messages; support administrative duties.
• Serve as a preceptor for new medical assistant orientation and MA student instruction.

Education
