Job summary

Penn State Health Lime Spring Clinic in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a busy general medicine team. The role includes rooming patients, performing Point-of-Care tests, EKGs, phlebotomy, vaccines/medications, and setting up in-house procedures. You will also handle chart prep, refills, and room/lab restocking.

The MA will work a regular schedule with one late evening per week and one Saturday rotation per month, with 8-hour shifts and varied hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain CMA or RMA certification within 90 days of employment or have CMA/RMA active status.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and perform Point-of-Care tests, EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Administer vaccines/medications and prepare for in-house procedures.
• Chart prep, refill prescriptions, and restock patient rooms and labs.
