Job summary

Penn State Health in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Physician Assistant to diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, independently or as part of a healthcare team.

The role may focus on health promotion, may order tests, interpret results, and may prescribe, pending licensure and state requirements. Full-time, 12-hour shifts, with shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
• National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
• May focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
• May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays.
• May prescribe.
