911 Emergency Communications in Sevierville, TN is seeking an Emergency Dispatcher to handle medical and other urgent calls from a centralized console. You will verify locations, obtain callback numbers, and coordinate responder actions quickly and accurately.

This role requires calm communication, adherence to protocols, and credentials such as CPR/EMD where required. Shift work includes nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification may be required.
• EMD certification or equivalent preferred per vacancy.

Responsabilidades

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies.
• Confirm patient location, callback number, and access details.
• Ask approved questions about patient’s condition.
• Determine response priority through the medical dispatch system.
• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources when assigned.
• Provide protocol-based instructions within current qualifications.
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responders.
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities.
