911 Emergency Communications in Montandon, PA seeks dedicated Emergency Medical Dispatchers to join our operations center. You will receive medical emergency calls, verify locations, instruct callers, and coordinate ambulance resources following established protocols.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and may be sponsored for EMS dispatcher certification; CPR and related training are often required. Overtime, night shifts, weekends and holidays may be assigned based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma commonly required.
• Certification in Emergency Medical Dispatcher may be required before appointment.
• CPR certification and additional coursework may be required.

Responsabilités

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies.
• Confirm the patient’s location, callback number, and access details.
• Ask approved questions about the patient’s condition.
• Determine response priority through the authorized medical dispatch system.
• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources when included in the assignment.
• Provide protocol-based instructions within current qualifications.
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responding personnel.
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities.
