Responsibilities

• Coordinate Local Emergency Management Performance Grant management, maintain records, and report compliance.
• Process accounts payable and prepare vouchers.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Coordinate operation of equipment and train others in equipment use.
• Serve as Duty Officer and report to the State on incidents and hazards.
• Complete trainings to maintain certifications.
• Provide staff support to the Safety Committee.
• Maintain badging system and badges for staff and equipment.
• Update first responder contact information for emergency notifications.
• Track county-wide resources.
• Record minutes for Communications Council and serve as secretary/treasurer for LEPC.
• Update and maintain county emergency plans.
• Maintain emergency shelters and weather sirens; procedures.
• Perform related duties.
