Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Emergency Management Hazards Analyst to join the Emergency Management organization in Idaho Falls. You will report to the BEA Emergency Management Manager.

The team follows a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off. Responsibilities include developing hazards assessments and surveys, providing expert incident decision support, and performing atmospheric dispersion modeling and dose assessments as part of the Consequence Assessment Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 9 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and 6 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance (U.S. Citizenship).
• Maintain Radiation Worker I Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop Emergency Planning Hazards Assessments and All Hazards Surveys.
• Provide expert advice for incident decision making during emergencies.
• Perform atmospheric dispersion modeling and dose assessments.
