Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an Emergency Management Hazards Analyst to join the Emergency Management organization. The role reports to the BEA Emergency Management Manager and operates on a 9x80 schedule from the Idaho Falls facility, with every other Friday off.

You will serve as an SME to analyze hazards, develop assessments, and coordinate with DOE and internal teams to ensure emergency readiness and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 9 years of related professional service, or an advanced degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Maintain Radiation Worker I Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop Emergency Planning Hazards Assessments, All Hazards Surveys, emergency action levels, and predetermined protective actions.
• Provide advanced technical expertise to management and incident decision making for safe mitigation of an INL facility and sitewide emergency.
• Perform atmospheric dispersion modeling and provide dose assessments as part of the Consequence Assessment Team.
