Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an Emergency Management Hazards Analyst to join our Emergency Management organization. You will report to the BEA Emergency Management Manager, work on a 9x80 schedule at the Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.

You will serve as an SME, providing technical expertise to analyze and develop hazards assessments and surveys in accordance with DOE and site requirements, coordinating with DOE and internal teams to ensure readiness and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 9 years experience, or an advanced degree with 6 years experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE 'Q' clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Maintain Radiation Worker I Qualification.

Responsabilités

• Develop Emergency Planning Hazards Assessments, All Hazards Surveys, emergency action levels, and predetermined actions.
• Provide advanced technical advice to incident decision makers for safe mitigation during incidents.
• Perform atmospheric dispersion modeling and dose assessments for consequence analyses.
• Coordinate preparedness and response with environmental, safety, site services, and medical teams.
• Ensure EM program compliance with federal regulations, DOE orders, and procedures.
• Serve in INL Emergency Response Organization and participate in drills and exercises.
