The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is seeking candidates for Dispatcher Trainee - FUTURE OPENINGS in Florida. The starting hourly wage is $26.40, with additional pay for prior emergency dispatch experience. This is a 24/7 public safety role requiring the ability to work any shift.

Responsibilities include answering 9-1-1 calls, providing medical instructions, and relaying information to responders. We offer in-house training to obtain Florida DOH Public Safety Telecommunicator licensure and

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a computer-based skills test.
• Must pass the applicant testing, full background investigation, polygraph, psychological exam, and medical screening.
• Schedule flexibility including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Answers 9-1-1 calls and provides life-saving instructions.
• Transmits information to emergency personnel via radio and CAD/ Computer-Aided Dispatch.
• Relays information between public, law enforcement, EMS and firefighting units.
• Processes information through NCIC/FCIC teletype systems.
• Assists officers with information needed to perform calls for service.
