Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with 1 year of related experience or equivalent.
• CJIS/NCIC, CPR, EMD, EFD, EPD and other certifications due within stated timeframes.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, and transmit calls via radio, telephone, and computer systems for public safety agencies.
• Provide concise information to callers and public safety officials during emergencies.
• Assist callers with emergency first aid as required.
• Navigate dispatch software to determine caller situation and dispatch incidents.
• Verify and document entries in NCIC as needed.
