Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc seeks a Dispatcher to manage routine and emergency field activity through real-time scheduling, ensuring safe operations, high service quality, and strong customer service. The Dispatcher works on rotating schedules and handles emergency communications across multiple applications to keep operations safe.

This role requires supervisory skills, quick decision making, and the ability to coordinate field resources, with knowledge of UGI systems and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in gas utility operations, or dispatching/scheduling experience preferred.
• Lives within a commutable distance of the Denver, PA office (45 minutes).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct routine service activity and manage work via load leveling while supporting field resources and office personnel.
• Answer off-hours calls from customers and 911/EMA centers to facilitate emergency response and reschedule as needed.
• Supervise and direct emergency field activity and adhere to Emergency Response procedures.
• Enter data accurately into callout databases and emergency logs; assist during high workload and fill shifts.
