Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI seeks an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to provide routine patient care in the ED/Trauma Center under RN supervision. The role is on-site, 0.9 FTE, with a weekend shift from 07:00 to 19:30, and requires prior CNA/MA/EMT experience and a high school diploma.

BLS certification is required, with licensure as an EMT, MA, or Nursing Assistant preferred. The position offers exposure to a wide range of clinical duties, competitive benefits, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as CNA, MA or EMT.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Emergency Medical Technician license or Medical Assistant certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, perform routine duties and basic nursing procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and care in the Emergency/Trauma Center.
• Weekend program shift: 0700-1930; perform assigned tasks as needed.
