Advocate Health in Wisconsin’s Milwaukee area is hiring an ED Technician for the Aurora St Lukes Medical Center ED. This full-time role on 1st shift starts at 0900 with weekend and holiday rotation. You will support refurbishing, rounds, documentation, equipment needs, and safety initiatives.

The position requires CNA/EMT-B/LPN/MA certification and 2–4 years ED experience, with strong communication and PC skills. Competitive benefits and compensation within the posted range.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in an emergency department.
• Certification as a CNA, EMT-B, LPN, or Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day refurbishing initiatives in the ED.
• Conduct rounds and document in Care Connection.
• Provide input to ED leadership on equipment needs and depreciation.
• Identify cleaning needs during rounds.
• Evaluate supply usage and adjust quarterly par levels.
• Represent the ED on the Leadership Team and attend meetings.
• Co-chair monthly ED technician staff meetings.
• Review patient satisfaction data and act on gaps.
• Ensure ED technicians follow safety initiatives.
• Function as an ED technician as needed.
