Job summary

Froedtert Health seeks an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our on-site team at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Under RN supervision, you will perform routine service duties and basic nursing procedures to support patient care in the Emergency and Trauma Center.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year of CNA/MA/EMT experience, a High School diploma, and Wisconsin EMT/MA/NA licensure with BLS. This is a 0.9 FTE, 36-hour on-site weekend program position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as CNA, Medical Assistant, or EMT is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Wisconsin EMT license, certified Medical Assistant, or Nursing Assistant certification plus BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurse in Emergency/Trauma Center.
• Perform routine service duties and basic nursing procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and care, as assigned.
