Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support nurses in the ED and Trauma Center at our Milwaukee facility. The role involves routine service duties and basic nursing procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety, under RN supervision.

Minimum 1 year of CNA/MA/EMT experience is required, with a High School diploma or equivalent. Wisconsin EMT license or MA/MA cert and AHA BLS (within 30 days) are also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CNA/MA/EMT experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Wisconsin EMT license, certified Medical Assistant, or Nursing Assistant cert required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provide routine nursing tasks to ensure patient comfort, safety and care.
• Assist with emergency department duties and basic procedures as assigned.
