Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Emergency Department clinician with EMT-Paramedic credentials. This 24-hour-per-week position offers a competitive pay range of $21.85–$36.15 per hour and requires completion of an accredited EMS program.

Under supervision, you will assist with medications and procedures, monitor patient status, document in the EHR, and coordinate care with physicians, nurses and EMS partners.

Qualifications

• EMT-Paramedic license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be obtained within 6 months unless waived.
• Completion of an accredited EMS program is required.
• Experience in a paramedic role is typically 1 year, with clinical excellence prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Document information and communicate observations to the licensed clinician.
• Assist with medications and procedures under supervision.
• Provide emergency support and notify RN/physician of patient changes.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper equipment function.
• Document care in the EHR and coordinate with physicians and EMS.
