Job summary

The Emergency Department nurse at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO provides professional nursing care for acute illness or trauma, triages patients, and prioritizes care based on clinical needs and patient flow.

You will stabilize patients, initiate treatment, and coordinate discharge or transfer as needed. Requires Missouri RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC within specified timelines, with a focus on teamwork and timely care.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri is required.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for acute illness or trauma in the ED.
• Triage patients and determine priority of care based on clinical needs and patient flow.
• Stabilize patients, initiate treatment, and coordinate discharge or transfer as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient care.
