Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO, is seeking an Emergency Department nurse to provide professional care for patients of all ages. The ED nurse triages, prioritizes based on needs, stabilizes patients, initiates treatment, and arranges disposition in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include MO RN license, BLS within 90 days, ACLS and PALS within one year, ENPC within 12 months, and TNCC within 12 months; NRC within 12 months for pediatric care. Attractive sign-on and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Triage and determine priority of care based on needs.
• Stabilize patients and initiate treatment in a fast-paced ED.
• Discharge patients or coordinate longer hospital stays as needed.
