Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an Emergency Department RN for the Springfield facility to provide professional nursing care during acute illness or trauma. The RN triages, stabilizes, and initiates treatment, coordinating care through the ED team to discharge or arrange longer hospital stays.

Required is a Missouri RN license with BLS; ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC within specified timelines. Eligible for sign-on and career ladder bonuses with shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Active Missouri RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and determine priority of care.
• Stabilize patients and initiate necessary treatments.
• Provide professional nursing care across all ages in emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and patient flow.
