Job summary

CoxHealth South, located at 3801 S National Ave, Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The ED nurse delivers professional care during acute illness or trauma, triages, prioritizes, and supports patient flow across all ages.

Mandatory Missouri RN license with BLS; ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC within specified timelines. BSN preferred; night shift 6:30 PM–3:00 AM; 40 hours/week with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS within 90 days.
• ACLS within one year of hire.
• PALS within one year of hire.
• ENPC within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire.
• ENPC must be Primary RN for emergent pediatric care; TNCC primary RN in trauma care.

Responsibilities

• Triage and determine priority of care based on patient needs.
• Stabilize patients and initiate treatment in the ED.
• Discharge patients after emergency care or arrange longer hospital stay.
• Assess and support patient flow and collaborate with team.
