Responsibilities

• Interviews and collects demographic information for EMR; uses Patient Identity/Red Flag procedures.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and completes accurate insurance entry at point of service.
• Manages ED track board to prioritize patient flow and coordinate registration.
• Directs patients through admission processes and escorts as needed.
• Maintains visitor passes and upholds downtime and incident planning guidelines.
