Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Texas RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.

Responsibilities

• Drives quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives across the ED, analyzing clinical metrics to improve patient outcomes and trauma metrics.
• Leads process improvement projects to streamline ED throughput and enhance clinical efficiency in a high-volume center.
• Formulates and updates evidence-based emergency and trauma nursing policies to maintain regulatory compliance and align with national standards.
• Serves as a strategic clinical advisor to ED management and senior leadership, using data-driven insights for operational decisions and practice changes.
