Under the general supervision of the Director of Emergency Services, you will assist with vital signs, ECGs, specimen collection, and basic care, ensuring safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in direct patient caregiving roles preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support required.
• Class E Missouri driving license within 90 days of hire as applicable.
• CEVO certification completed within 90 days of hire or as certification classes allow.
• Mandt training course.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care activities including vital signs, 12-lead EKGs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, activities of daily living, wound care, and assist with exams and procedures.
• Performs indirect patient care activities such as transportation, monitoring, and stocking.
• May function as ED Lead Tech to facilitate communication and task completion within the department.
