Community Health Systems in Poplar Bluff, MO is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to support the ED team. You will assist with patient care under licensed staff, keep the department stocked, and help maintain a clean, organized, safe environment.

This role requires 0-1 years of clinical experience, completion of a technical nursing/EMT/phlebotomy program, and strong communication, infection control, and multitasking skills. Night shift availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical School completion of Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant courses required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant, certified Basic EMT, certified Phlebotomist, or certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• 0-1 years of clinical experience required.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care in the emergency department by performing clinical interventions and procedures under licensed staff.
• Assists with patient transport, safety, and timely discharge.
• Maintains a clean, stocked environment and adheres to infection control standards.
• Communicates with patients, families, and care team; reports changes promptly.
• Documents care activities in the EMR system accurately.
• Responds to emergencies and supports the team to ensure patient safety.
• Performs clerical tasks and collaborates with ancillary services as needed.
