Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is hiring an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for the Night shift. This role supports ED nurses and physicians with patient care, performs lab draws and EKGs, and works in inpatient or outpatient ED settings.

The ideal candidate holds EMT-B certification or is enrolled in a clinical program with at least one completed semester, or has completed US Military Hospital Corps School. Teamwork is emphasized.

Qualifications

• EMT-B certification with state or national certification at time of hire.
• US Military Hospital Corps School completion or qualified MMAC candidates.
• Current student enrolled in a clinical program (RN, LPN, Respiratory, Physical Therapy) with at least one semester completed.

Responsibilities

• Lab draws and EKGs in the ED.
• Assist nurses and doctors with patient care in ED settings.
