Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for the Day Shift in the Emergency Department.

This role performs lab draws, EKGs, and assists nurses and doctors with patient care, with strong teamwork and dedicated patient support.

Eligible candidates include EMT-B certified staff, Military Hospital Corps School graduates, or students enrolled in a clinical program.

Qualifications

• EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire.
• US Military Hospital Corps School completion or MMAC candidates.
• Currently enrolled in a clinical program (e.g., RN, LPN, Respiratory, PT) with at least one semester completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab draws and EKGs in the ED.
• Assist nurses and doctors with patient care in the ED.
