Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support bedside care, transport patients, and maintain ED workflow in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure oxygen tanks are full and ready on each gurney, stock rooms with supplies, and assist RNs and physicians with assessments and treatments.

Responsibilities include assisting the unit clerk with clerical tasks, documenting in the ED information system, and communicating with staff to ensure timely patient care.

Qualifications

• EMT, CNA, or Medical Assistant required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Dysrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Current Phlebotomy certification – State of California preferred.
• CPI Certification obtained within first 90 days of employment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Reports and documents in the ED information system including vital signs, bedside care and observations.
• Assists RNs and physicians with assessments, examinations, and treatments; supports unit clerk clerical duties.
