Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year working as an ED tech or EMT.
• Experience as a PCA or PCT in a high-volume department.
• GED or high school graduate.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to perform duties as defined in the job description.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to organize and set priorities.
• Ability to respond as a first responder in emergencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
