Job summary

UCSF Health seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide safe, therapeutic care within an interdisciplinary team. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients with complex needs.

Responsibilities include supporting patient care management across UCSF Stanyan and Hyde Emergency Departments, with preferred BSN and CEN credentials. Proficiency in Cerner EMR and MS Office is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of RN clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current Emergency Department RN experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required.
