Job summary

Willamette Valley Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Emergency Services Tech for overnight ED support. You will assist nurses and physicians, perform phlebotomy, and help manage equipment and supplies to ensure patient care excellence.

The role requires EMT-B/AEMT/Paramedic or CNA licensing with current BLS, and completion of crisis intervention training within 3 months of hire. Night shift 7:00pm–7:30am in McMinnville, OR.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic EMT (EMT-B), Advanced EMT (AEMT), Paramedic License or CNA license preferred
• Current BLS certification.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training completed within three months of hire and maintain as current.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct personal care under the supervision of the nurse within the scope of practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant I or II and Emergency Department Technician
• Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines.
• Participates in the responsible management of all departmental/hospital resources.
• Works with the ED team to maintain equipment and supplies and adequate inventory levels.
• Assumes responsibility for meeting annual in-service requirements and ongoing personal development.
