Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the Redmond, OR region. This float role covers EDs across hospitals including Bend and Redmond, working the third shift (1900-0730) for 36 hours per week.

You will assist RNs, perform delegated tasks, and help maintain a safe, healing environment. Required: high school diploma or GED; BLS for Health Care Providers; EMT/CNA/MA/Paramedic licensure preferred; 1 year direct patient care experience or nursing student status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; willingness to take additional courses.
• Preferred EMT/CNA/MA/Paramedic/RN student status.
• Current licensure/certification as EMT, CNA, MA, Paramedic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care hygiene as needed.
• Stocks unit, transports patients, and maintains a clean environment.
• Act as continuous patient observer to ensure safety.
• Documents all patient care in EMR per hospital policies.
