Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a part-time Emergency Department support member in Sheboygan County. The role involves casual weekday coverage with shifts such as 2p-2a and 11a-11p, with occasional weekends and no holidays required.

You will assist physicians and nurses with phlebotomy, patient transport, monitoring, wound care, Foley catheter insertion where allowed, and IV starts as permitted by state regulations. Proficiency in EHR is required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and basic patient care skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced ED.
• Basic computer skills and EHR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and RNs with phlebotomy, transport, monitors, wound care, Foley catheters, and IV starts where allowed.
• Document procedures and communicate patient observations to RNs.
• Process daily charges through the EHR.
• Coordinate communications to support patient care and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper safety precautions.
