Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. You will work two 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, providing skilled nursing care across the continuum of the patient experience.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, coordinating with the care team, and maintaining safety and high-quality care. A BSN is preferred, with rigorous licensure and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and BLS required.
• BSN preferred per job details.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patient and family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies following clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates communication, feedback, and conflict resolution to support team collaboration.
