Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a healthcare support professional for the Oshkosh Emergency Department. This full-time role includes a night schedule (1900-0730) three nights per week, with rotating holidays and a pay range of $21.85 to $32.80 per hour.

The position entails assisting physicians, coordinating tests, and performing phlebotomy as needed. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, ~1 year of experience, and ability to work with Electronic Health Records.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to work with Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Licensure or certification as Nurse Aide or EMT or Medical Assistant with BLS within 6 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare team with access to patient information.
• Coordinate tests and treatments and document observations clearly.
• Support communications via phone, paging, and hospital systems.
• Perform phlebotomy, transport patients, and assist in patient care tasks.
• Maintain safe workplace and report equipment or safety issues.
