Job summary

Sierra Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to join our team in Reno, NV. This full-time role supports patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, including vital signs, patient transport, and mobility assistance.

Qualifications

• Must hold current EMT or CNA certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Prefer one year experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to Emergency Dept patients under direct supervision of RN or physician.
• Takes, documents, and reports vital signs; reports abnormal results promptly to RN.
• Transports patients to other departments or inpatient units as needed.
• Assists with moving, ambulating, and lifting patients.
