Job summary

Sierra Medical Center is seeking an ED Technician to join our team part-time. You will assist with basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, maintaining readiness for patient care and supporting the Emergency Department workflow.

The role emphasizes patient safety, vital sign monitoring, and assistance with patient movement. A current EMT or CNA certification and BLS certification are required, with a preference for acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or CNA certification is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Prefer at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive, patient-focused care under RN/physician supervision.
• Record and report vital signs; escalate abnormal results promptly.
• Transport patients to appropriate departments and units as needed.
• Assist with moving, ambulating, and lifting patients to ensure safety.
