Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is hiring a Senior ED Technician for a part-time role. You will assist with direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and help maintain a prepared environment in the Emergency Department.

The position offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. Current AEMT and BLS certifications are required, with a preference for one year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current AEMT Certification is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Prefer one year experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to the Emergency Dept patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
• Takes, documents, and reports vital signs. Reports abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.
• Transports patients, as necessary to other departments and inpatient units.
• Assists with moving, ambulating and lifting patients.
