Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join a well-established ED team in Washington. You will provide total direct nursing care for patients within established standards, policies, and guidelines, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

The role requires ER nursing experience, WA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS by start date, and PALS/TNCC within specified timeframes; BSN or MSN and CEN are preferred for professional growth and premium pay opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN) required.
• Minimum of two years ER RN experience required.
• WA RN license and BLS/ACLS by start date.
• PALS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year.
• BSN/MSN and CEN are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
• Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates education for patient and family/significant others.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborates with physicians and inter-disciplinary team on care plans.
• Communicates all relevant information to the supervisor and physician.
• Documents changes in patient condition promptly to the nurse in charge.
