EvergreenHealth in Washington State is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for our fast-paced ED. You will provide direct nursing care, advocate for patients, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Required credentials include an RN license (WA), a nursing program diploma/ADN, and BLS/ACLS; PALS/TNCC as required. Two years ER experience strongly preferred, with relocation assistance available.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN required).
• Minimum of two years current RN ER nursing experience.
• Current WA State Registered Nurse License; BLS required; ACLS required; PALS/TNCC as per timeframe.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates the patient and family education process.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care with patient/family involvement.
• Works with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to charge nurse/supervisor/physician.
• Documents and communicates safety issues, equipment problems, and quality concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the well- established and dynamic Emergency Department team.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Primary Duties:

• 1. Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
• 2. Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• 3. Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.
• 4. Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
• 5. Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.
• 6. Communicates effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.
• 7. Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
• 8. Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

Required for the position:

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required)
• Minimum of two-years current RN Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Current WA State Registered Nurse License
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS- American Heart Association by start date.
• Current Healthcare Provider ACLS- American Heart Association by start date.
• PALS within 6 months of hire and TNCC within a year of hire

Desired for this position:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• CEN certification is preferred.
