Job summary

EvergreenHealth Monroe is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide individualized care for medical, trauma, and psychiatric patients, performing triage, rapid assessment, and timely interventions in a high-volume ED.

The role requires WA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and additional certifications (NIHSS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC, NRP) or timely completion after hire. Opportunities for cross-training across nursing departments are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with WA RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC, NRP certifications preferred or within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Triage and prioritize care, assess needs, and coordinate interventions.
• Document patient status, vitals, and care plans accurately.
• Lead and participate in performance improvement activities.
