Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join our established ED team. This role provides total direct nursing care according to standards and policies, while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Required: Diploma/ADN, 2+ years ER experience, WA RN license, BLS/ACLS; PALS advised within 6 months and TNCC within a year. BSN/MSN and CEN preferred. Relocation assistance available and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN) required.
• Minimum of two years ER RN nursing experience.
• Current WA State RN license; BLS/ACLS; PALS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and act as patient advocate.
• Assess the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinate patient and family education process.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with patient/family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement plan of care.
• Communicate all relevant information to supervisor and physician in a timely manner.
• Document changes in patient condition promptly to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
